About Seán Kelly
I am originally from Ferrybank in Waterford and reside in Tramore. I have a love for the Arts and am a founding member of the Tramore Writers Group. My passion for writing has included scripts for theatre and radio. I can now include a fictional novel to my writings’ - my debut novel is a comedy caper called “The Dog Sit Affair.”
I have had no training in the world of writing and journalism but always knew I had a book inside me. I have had many letters published in the Irish Examiner and the Daily Mail and most of my content are humorous, satirical pieces. My love of reading began as a young boy and the first book I read was Treasure Island followed by The Count of Monte Christo.
Seeing my book published was a dream come true. I always knew the story and how it was going to end as I was writing it and perhaps there will be a Dog Sit Affair Part two in the pipeline - watch this space.

Testimonials & Reviews
This talented Waterford wit of many years,my acquaintance,(as a peer poet,)the gifted Kelly adds a fast-moving modern paperback there to in this, his first novel.Sean has authored the ideal (300+page turner) of the 'holiday type read' in a style of dialogue and narrative that reminds me of my favourite best-selling authors of this genre, the renown messrs Beaton&Brett. There can be no greater compliment to incentivise a sequel.
"The Dog Sit Affair" is an entertaining and amusing read. The main character Haley, a young widow, is clever and bolshy with a marvellous, quirky sense of humour. While she enjoys helping people she encounters she relishes putting others in their place with sarcastic, charming directness. Haley shows great empathy & generosity, yet possess a steely determination which makes for a satisfactory ending to a most enjoyable novel. Seamus Cody
